Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. The agent that spotted her and recognized her abilities encouraged her to enter the industry of entertainment. The university she attended dropped her after much consideration to make a move into entertainment. When she was disappointed with her performances in the film, she decided to make her debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. It took her quite a long period of time to refine her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget productions order to demonstrate her abilities. Even though it was not an easy path to take, the actor's sheer determination and patience were not unrewarded. She received recognition fame and high praise for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
